the fundamental difference between the national party members of parliament and that of the Labour Party is that tory mps believe that they are there to be serviced by the public while Labour Party politicians believe they are there to serve the public.
Great column by Rosemary Mcleod this morning in the Dompost about a minister taking direct control of operations and handing out contracts to favoured people while the actual winners of the public competition have been fired. (TRUMPED!)
Still I suppose that the new contractors will be paid.
It was well known that when that minister was a private person then people had to wait for ever for their bills to be paid and sometimes not at all.
