I see there is now a programme on teevee by some self appointed expert to make claims about why Kiwis love their drugz.
Well the thing is it is easy enough to find out by reading "When Society Becomes and Addict" by Anne Wilson Schaeff if there are still any copies remaining in the libraries of New Zealand which I doubt.
The primary goal of every adiction is to prevent the user from feeling their true thoughts and feelings.
Secondarily it is to give the user the illusion of control over their feelings.
Feelings never lie.
they are part of the equipment we are given at birth and then the media machine and the forces of socialization are exerted to make people not believe in themselves.
BY the time they get to adulthood then most if not all people are divorced from their inner selves.
furthermore drugz are specific.
I.e. LSD, amphetamines, cannabinoids, give the user the illusion that they are controlling their own depression.
alcohol is a defence against passive unconscious homosexuality (not available for inspection because it is unconscious doh!)
opiates and barbiturates are the choice of slow death for people who cant do it in one go.
a cup of tea is sufficient to let a little old lady feel that they have control over their feelings!
So is sean brown going to go into this subject in depth or is he being paid off by some unknown organisation to deliver another sensationalist account for some as yet unspoken agenda?
The real question is why societies in general are so antithetical to people being themselves and why there is no ministry for horrible parents rather than vulnerable children.
