people in the country really let themselves go.
yeeeeeeha......
Clareville Country Music Festival is on this weekend.
Be there or be square.
L7 not.
By a funny coincidence I have just Received a copy of the companion volume to New Zealands premier country music show "Thats Country".
Published by TVNZ in 1986.
Way cool doodo's.
And I found out today that there are now Thats Country tours of New Zealand hosted by some of the original kiwi stars!!!!!!
google it!
They had some serious A talent and it was a great show.
Tompall and the Glaser Brothers, Billie Jo Spears, Jeanne Pruett (Satin Sheets) among others.
And Ed Bruce who used to star as the sheriff in Maverick as well as doing great country music in his wonderful baritone.
Ah those were the days.
And to top it all off my order for "Almost Acoustic" by Jerry Garcia arrived this morning from i-Deals in Irvine, California.
IWas worried my vinyl would wear out and I ordered a 2nd hand cd but they sent a new one.
Thank you guys for your really nice deed.
Its a great album filled with choice songs from the Grateful Dead repertoire and and versions of top country and western Standards. e.g. Blue Yodel No9.
Xmas was late but it sure arrived in a package.
and you just got to have this.....
