its nearly all over now...

Found a copy of Esquires World Of Jazz the other day for not much.
Back in the day I listened to all and read all th ebooks/
nat hentoff
whitney balliet
gunther schuller
etc.
truth to tell I always preferred the whine of the the electric guitar to what seemed to be pointless noodling but the saxophone guys always appeared to be the real deal and it is still the accepted method to study them for the guitarist who wants some spice in his line.

and after the be-boppers had finished doing the trick there wasn't much left anyway.
it was to hard to learn "all that".
Everybody wants it easy now.
just squeeze it out of the tube and it will do.
yeah right.

today there was an Item in the Dompost on truth and justice in the age of unreason from Victoria University Professor of Criminology Simon Mackenzie who put it in a nutshell.
These seem to be becoming outdated concepts.
They have flown out the window and been replaced by shriekers on social media  or angry people who dont give a fuck about anything and want to see the whole world burn.
What is going on?
Nobody wants to know in case it interferes with their personal consumption patterns or acquisition policy.
The world has become this sort of toy for the ninnies and nitwits to play their solipsistic lives out on.
Buy this.
Go there.
Stamp on anything that you dont like.
hmmmmmmm
