Christmas has come and gone.
Received a beautiful handmade card from my dearest kin.
and a Sandy Denny vinyl album plus a nearly mint vinyl of Linda Ronstadt Heart LIke A Wheel) plus a beautiful hand reared rib roast of beef.
I cooked it for over four hours and when I pulled it out of the oven it seemed tough but in the mouth it just melted.

ON Christmas day the lavender suddenly seemed to go off and Bombus Bombus turned up in large numbers till the wasps arrived after lunch and beat off allcomers.
His nibs next door should do something about them but he is to busy trying to LOOK like a gardener instead of doing something useful.
anyway a pal sent me some $2 packets of wildflower seeds so I had to dig over some dirt and now my back and knee is really complaining!

Got "Small Town Talk" by Barney Hoskyins to read over the holidays and it was very sad to read about the decline into alchoholism and drugs of members of the Band.
People (bottom feeders)would come up from New York to watch Richard Danko getting drunk.
the fuckers and poor Sandy Denny went down to the same disease too.

I quite like the Avengers movie I have seen repeated at least twice this year and wonder why they dont repeat the mini series of Hollywoood Wives or is that too good for the peasants these days?
