american psychiatrist Gregory Zilboorg wrote an exceptional book about psychiatry and medicine titled 'Mind Medicine And Man" which is a great primer for the beginner in psychology.
Zilboorg was the consumate humanist and his concern leads him to some questionable conclusions about the refractory nature of humans but his exposition is brilliant.
He asserts that societal punishment for various offences reflects the degree of guilt felt by persons who would like to commit the same crimes.
so We get to the cathedral at Napier where the good christians there have seen fit to get rid of their Bishop because he did not tell them about his personal history.
The thing is that Churches these days are filled up with politicians, real estate agents and salesmen who need another avenue for prospects and making connections.
they have no interest in religion or morals or ethics at all e xcept where it might impinge on their business interests.
yes indeedy.
talking about guilt then I have become aware that feeding the sparrows impacts on the smaller native birds to their detriment.
I was thinking about this the other day when I needed a pee and ducked into a bush and there was a little grey warbler on a branch.
how about that.
right in the middle of the town but heavily wooded.
I keep my own laptop for a very few specific purposes and use the public for most egverything else.
why?
because the great providers, google, facebook msm etc want o bundle me up and try and think for me.
well tough but even now facebook has decided that I am some sort of militarist and they load up my home page with lots of WW11 stuyff when I log in.
I like aeroplanes even though they are on the way out.
(too many particulates and fossil fuels)
so here a few behemoths and darters from way back when the idiotes were slaughtering each other for impossible to explain reasons.
