I'll change my style...

Looking through my boxes of cd's for any that I have not downloaded onto my pc yet. Some I have missed some seem to have vanished into thin air (CD Heaven). Found Jimmy Reed and according to the media plahyer it was already on but no it wasnt. I couldnt find it if I took the cd out of the player? Anyway I figured out how to reset the rip function and all was well. I really wanted a couple of songs that are not on my other JR cd's. e.g. I'll change my style. George Thorogood ( worlds loudest 3 man quartet) does a nifty version but somehow the orginal nitty gritty blows my hair back.  Jimmy was a cool dude, atrocious alcholic but made a mint playing frat parties in the 50's and sixties with a laid back style and a few special riffs that Keef outlines in his book.

Ditto "I Just Love Folk". I must say it was a trip back in time listening to all those great singers from the sixties again. One of those 3cd albums where even the less accomplished can find the keys and play along and build a few chops without having to work out complex arrangements hidden behind "those" chords.

Raw is on telly now. Someone must have whispered in PRIME TV's ear because it is on earlier now and I personally dont have to wait up to watch the beefcake beat the crap out of each other.

night.

ps I never copy music. the artist deserves their pay but I have the right to put music on my pc.
