new zealands elite sports academy and the new zealand olympic committee are exposed as idiots. they have allowed a supplemental medicine preparation whch contains the amphetamine octopamine. Now these people are not substance analyst chemists, they are administrators but that doesn't excues their lax control of these substances and worst of all they gave the banned substance the thumbs up two weeks ago. Now they are running for hiding because their jobs are at stake for being noo noo heads. (they think they know everything).
sack 'em all and get a new lot. dont tell me there is only one cohort of people availlable in new zealand to fulfill these roles.
their case is similar to the wairarapa addiction services.
they thought they were beyond the control of any outsiders. they had a special dispensation to prescribe methadone and they abused it. they used their power to stand over all users of their service. and they committed the cardinal sin of believing that one size fits all and that they were the only possesors of knowledge and treatment therapies for alcoholics and addicts.
furthermore they were allocated $7,000 per client but only spent $1,100 per client and used the money to buy property and who knows what else. (probably pay staff redundancies) No wonder they called them CLIENTS. Now they have been given the bums rush what is going to happen to that property bought on the backs of suffering people but used to prop up the self agrandisement of the administrators. There is a new programme but it is was given to the lowest bidder!
