anyway what about the outrageous suggestion from pr flack mathew hooton on rnz 9-noon this morning that because Auckland rail messed up on Friday night then Aucklanders will never use the trains again.
what a crock of crap.
the guy from the right countered and said The National Party had hand picked the transport authority and stocked it with ignoramusses to make sure it failed.
In 2000 the Aussies ran all the trains in Sydney for free in the week before the Olympics. why didnt they they do that here instead of being prepared to let the meltdown occur so that National could score political points on the public transport veersus cars debate.
