once upon a time

Now they are trying to pulldown the Martinborough town hall.
A venerable old building that was never used to fulfill its true potential.
I see in this mornings Dompost that supposedly the local content on New Zealands Teevee Stations is increasing but true to form its only re-runs.
Now I read a back issue of Guitar Player and they are advertising hand held devices that record a whole concert in hidef and cd quality sound and yet nobody in New Zealand can organise a concert in the Martinborough Town Hall and come up with some content.
This country is full of people with brains made out of cement.
You know they couldn't even organise a barn dance when the Golden  Shears was on in Masterton let alone anything else.
the whole place has turned to piffle.
and lots of of it.
The last time they had a country music show on in the Masterton Town Hall there wan't a banjo or fiddle in sight, no clown to tell a few jokes and when the featured singer did a Hank williams number the place went wild so then they went  back into a whole lot of crap to  show off their vocal range and the audience slumped back into sullen let me get out of here displeasure.
