congrats to the Hurricanes after last nights win.
they are really excelling this year and have mental discipline plus the "KID", aka Bodeen Barret.

sorry to hear about the kiwi diplomats getting hauled over the coals by the rag today.
when a Texas oil conglomerate bought a Hollywood studio in the sixties they had to hide the fact from some employees that the the Hollywood guys got limos and mansions as part of their deal.
they couldn't have them entertaining in family homes or turning up in family station wagons.
what we have here in New Zealand is just plain petit bourgeois jealousy for those selected to live somewhere else and who need to keep up appearances in order to represent our country overseas..

go Pauline Swann. there is no pressing need to privatise the Wellington waterfront solely in order to deprive the great unwashed of their Sunday promenade. some of these Wellington city councillors are suffering from delusions of grandeur and salivating at the free meals they will get when they start greasing round the overseas buyers.
