Just seen the soon to be ex PM John Key smarming away on teavee with blatantly dishonest assertions about the state of things in New Zealand.
firstly he claims that Kiwis are coming home to take part in New Zealands rock star economy.
thats not right.
who is supplying the cocaine John?
they are coming home because things are tough everywhere else.
secondly he claims that New Zealands education system is in a state of crisis.
that is a blatant falsehood.
the education system is one of the biggest employers in New zealand and there is a whole gang of envious uneducated manques who want to get their hands on the money without training or experience but enough political clout to pressureise the National Party into giving into their incessant childish demands.
feed me, feed me, feed me.
they believe in the mantra that its not what you know its who you know. so it is ignorance that is at a premium in New Zealand.
furthermore the so called failures of the system are the failure of parents who dont really care about their children and want the school to do the job that they are too lazy or indifferent to do themselves but they do not care to shoulder any blame.
its just like a letter in the SST letters this morning that claims language is ever changing to excuse functional illiteracy and machbarkeitscwahn or fantasys of omnipotence. i.e. if I ( that is meeeee) say thats what a word means then thats what it means.
pretty crummy but a little learning is a dangerous thing when it comes to arrogant idiots.
namely national party voters.
