It is about time the laws were changed to allow people to protect themselves from dogs.
New Zealand has become a country where the rights of dog owners and operators of noisy vehicles trump that of ordinary people going about their business.
The government is weak and spineless and needs a rocket up the bum.
At the moment a person cant do anything until they have actually suffered damage.
This is crazy.
Why are there so many large and vicious dogs in New Zealand.
I know.
Because most of the population are gutless wimps who can only assert themselves by intimidating others.
They are too scared to speak up.
so much for community when everybody is isolated, insular and frightened and televised into inanity.

Velo dogs were developed in Europe when cycling first became popular but have beocme redundant in a civilised society.
They are chambere to fire a charge of rock salt and sting!
Here IN New Zealand it is time new laws  were re-introduced to allow people some re-assurance when walking.
The Dompost had two items this morning about this.
One showed a girl with half her bottom lip missing after a dog attack and then further in an article on why Kiwis dont walk.
