I thought love was only true in fairy tales....

Fairey Barracuda

Sid Nathan

Found a really neato 2CD best of the MOnkees at The Warehouse yesterday.
Wonderful Stuff.
Only Shades of Grey.
The Warehouse  really is a treasure trove of Music.
Keep up the good work.

and I have to mention a  wacky DVD compiled from Germany's Radio Bremen with everybody (almost) on it. Kool, Jeff Beck, Stepehn stills, Nazareth (Dan McAffery can sing) America, Dr Hook, and Humble Pie among others.
Oh and a really nifty version of the Who doing MY Generation and The Easy Beats and more!
Way to go 60's.
hehehehehehehe.

Got two nifty paperbacks from the Salvation Army Family Store book sale.
The Gameplayers of Titan by the one and only Philip K Dick and Breakfast Of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut.
Fantastic.
Once upon a time about twenty years ago these authors  were a dime a dozen in the cheapo 2nd hand bookstores but now they are as rare as rocking horse sh*t if ya know what I mean.
They dont date and last night I couldnt put The Gameplayers Of Titan down until I finished it at 1:30.
hmmmmmmmmmm.
It was worth it.

I also found Heaven and Hell by ex Eagles guitarist Don Felder.
He seems to have been a naif.
A bit like Mark Richardson who opined on TCGW last night that teams that dont like each other always play better.
Not in every case Mark.

Anyways I always thought it was Bernie Leadon who played the intro to Already Gone but it was Don.
going to put it in the slow player and try and learn it tonight.
fun time for the kiddies tonite.

Sid Nathan was the owner of KIng Records in Cincinnati.
