Where is she today. Her demeanor during "Fell in Love" was the sultriest I can remember by a girl singer!I think that I read somewhere that today she may be in her late sixties. Doe anyone have any information about her?? Thanks

Reni Simon,was born in Memphis, Tennessee, the home of blues, soul music and jazz. There is no doubt that Beale Street & the delta influenced her voice. While growing up,her dad played saxophone and loved jazz and that's how she was exposed to the wonderful melodic songs from the 40's that she loves and always wanted to record. In her earlier career she recorded for one of the top publishing companies in Memphis, singing song demos for Eddie Floyd and other Stax recording artists & writers. She signed her first solo recording contract with Steve Cropper of Booker T. & the M.G.'s & the Blues Brothers. She released a single 'I Idolize You', an Ike & Tina Turner song. Later she moved to San Francisco and toured with The Elvin Bishop Band, sang background on 'Fooled Around and Fell In Love' a million seller hit
