cure me I'm gay...

sorry no can do.
being gay is not a disease.
it is simply a psycho/sexual adjustment to the world.
sometimes society permits it and at other times it is abhorred.
if a gay person commits predatory acts or other pathological sexual acts then being gay is no defence.
so any one who says they can cure homosexuality is a charlatan.
the only thing a reasonable layperson can do is listen if the person is bothered.

btw
I'm not gay.
I just happened to read sigmund freud when I was studying alchoholism and there the whole theory was expounded on the connection between alchoholism and homosexuality in all societies at all times.
pretty nifty
strong stuff
you have to be ready for it.
and

hey ho one thing I know...

people in the country really let themselves go.

hair today, gone tomorrow...

Lovely Sunday. Early winter cool.
Nice walk to go and get the Sunday paper.
Peaceful and quiet.
Had to get out of the house as  host/presenter/whatever Wallis Chapman on RadioNew Zealand National threatened to go  manic every second sentence which btw was laced with interrogatives. Whats with so called journalists using interrogatives all the time. Cant they they do their job without them. It all sounds so cruddy.
Are they tellin gor asking?
Sometime All Black Grant Fox was doing the same thing last night when interviewed after the All Blacks win in dunedian last night. he was inserting them at the end of every sentence. So declasse. Has been pussy whipped by a wife who watches too much coronation street?
anyway the rag was filled with articles on Pubic Hair and the supplement on exorcism
what a lot of twaddle.
everywhere you look in New Zealand the place is dumbing down in a virtual flood of narcissistic infantilism.
Its incredible how public life in New Zealand is now dominated by loud mouthed know nothings with the Socratic disease. i.e. because they know something they think they know everything.
The academics hide in their ivory towers and pander to the kidz and hey ho its all yeahnah jake.
yeah right.

thats all folks.

wot...

Gods little acre...

Reading the Virgin encyclopedia of 60's music whilst eating my porridge this morning when I lighted on Elmer Bernstein and the Byrds at random. Mr Bernstein was the great western movie composer but he did them all including  Gods Little Acre which was one of those books from the 50's that were considered "HOT" but are relatively tame now but still a good read.
Ditto Peyton Place. Its power was defused by the TV series but the book is a little cracker with one of the best depictions of alcoholism I have ever read anywhere. A treat.
Went out to the Baptist Market and scored the dvd of Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas plus The Complete Series of Band of Brothers and advd of the Fifth Element. I have a vhs but I know someone about 11yo who will really like the dvd.
So there ya go.
Its warm and sunny but cold in exposed places.
Moral: dont expose your places!
teehee
On my way home I ran into R. who has just been in the hospital for three weeks. He was gardening and got a prick under a nail from a rose bush and the next day he was fighting for his life with septicaemia.
Stuff you gotta watch all right.
Now the Byrds going flat out on I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better.
me too.
?

Hey Mr Tambourine Man

if your house catch fire and there aint no water round...

throw your suitcase out the window
and watch your shack burn down.
Huddie Ledbetter.

appropos of nothing!

Masterton this morning. Lovely day. People are groovin' around and the sun is about to come out.
Might have been a bit precipitate advocating wholesale demolition of the northern cbd but there is no doubt that the northern approcah could be consolidated and something done.
Do something willya.
teehee.
anyway its not important on a day like today.
off to paper+.
found a really cheap dvd of TRON the other day and I know someone who would really like to get it in the post!

hard luck ace...

they don't make 'em like they used to.

they sure don't dood.
everywhere you look the world is awash with guns and nitwits and politicians trying to make themselves look big with extravagant erections.
almost nowhere is there any peace or tranquility.
at any moment some jerk with a gun whose desires and fantasies of omnipotence have been foiled can get to work and start killing at random just because they feel like it.
in the meantime the minnows are busy pulling down anyone they can just for the sake of it.
right at the moment in the "USA Today" a democrat tv presenter is going at Hillary Clinton because she objects to anyone who has any money standing for president.
what does this person want?
some pennyless illiterate from a New York slum.
this is madness.
its all about personality and the issues can go hang.
but..
had to laugh at a "STUDY" out of Australia that show s that people who drive more than two hours a day are more likely to suffer from a range of medical and psychological problems entirely related to sitting on your arse for too long.
tee hee.

Prime TV on sex 'n drugz and rock and roll was a bit tame. It was more about interviews with some survivors. Interesting stuff. We had more fun then. It was somehow an innocent time full of hope that foundered on the oil crisis and the ambitions of nations with nuclear weapons.
Now Prime is big on tattooos and call girls for titillating the masses this week.
Well tattoos spread aids, open the body for other infections and too many causes the skin to stop breathing and then death. hahahahahahahaha.
Call girls. Today it is pc to call prostitution the sex industry but any girl who does this of her own volition has a deep psychological need to dominate men even if it is only for five minutes. hmmmm.

the slightly Later Show with Dave Letterman.
Hi Dave.
Loved your suit today.
The grey one.
a beauty.
and Willie Nelson was great. He is a marvellous musician and as far as I can tell from here a good person.
If not for you Dave we wouldn't see him here at all.

now for something completely different...
