 and fire simon dallow?

he has been around for far too long with his sly put downs, poisonous barbs and backing the wrong horse.

this man must go and soon so new zeland can breathe a sigh of relief and some decent air.

who i sluke malpass and why is he fibbing about JA...

this si the creature that gets a weekly pass to slag off Jacinda Ardern in the Dompost every saturday. his columns are more a diatribe or panegyric about his right wing perceptions of the Labour Government. He is just another phoney wheeled out to carry out the sabotaging of the present government with lots of words that carry no substance.

wairarapa times age sinks to new low...

the fool on the hill...

while we are about it...

the Carterton events centre was a collossal waste of money right from the start.

the cost cutting and cheeseparing meant that there is no kitchen and a host of extraneous activites were designed and crammed into what should have been a separate library from the council administration offices that seem to have taken over the available space.

the aquisitions seem to be house and garden mags anyway. all the good books have gone and the staff dont read. I know. I have asked them.

the library itself is staffed by people from out of town whose jobs were never advertised and seem to have been deemed above manual labour by whoever selected them in the first place. nobody knows who they are.

the events centre has eaten all the money that would have payed for the new sewerage works several times over and the promoter of the whole shabby deal left town soon after.

I am not going to leave my reference library to Waicol at the moment should I pass soon

enough said

I am not a dog....

and I do not appreciate being yelled at by the staff of the carterton information centre when I enter the library.

I spoke to the mayor  this morning and he mumbled something about wearing masks but that still does not account for the staff yelling at me in a public space.

today I had an appointment at the respiratory clinic in masterton that was cancelled by the operator who coincidentally had a cold.

I was going to apply for an exemption due to the medicine I take which results in a puffy face and runny nose. other men who take the same stuff will know what I am talking about.

I will have to book an appointment with my gp for the exemption and get these people off my back.

joan and friends...

five ways...

  1. Motion: Some things undoubtedly move, though cannot cause their own motion. Since, as Thomas believed, there can be no infinite chain of causes of motion, there must be a First Mover not moved by anything else, and this is what everyone understands by God.
  2. Causation: As in the case of motion, nothing can cause itself, and an infinite chain of causation is impossible, so there must be a First Cause, called God.
  3. Existence of necessary and the unnecessary: Our experience includes things certainly existing but apparently unnecessary. Not everything can be unnecessary, for then once there was nothing and there would still be nothing. Therefore, we are compelled to suppose something that exists necessarily, having this necessity only from itself; in fact itself the cause for other things to exist.
  4. Gradation: If we can notice a gradation in things in the sense that some things are more hot, good, etc., there must be a superlative that is the truest and noblest thing, and so most fully existing. This then, we call God.
  5. Ordered tendencies of nature: A direction of actions to an end is noticed in all bodies following natural laws. Anything without awareness tends to a goal under the guidance of one who is aware. This we call God.[130]

now for something completely different...
