marine band...

Have seen two USN Marine Bands.
One came to our town in the 50's and schools gathered in the Stadium.
They played some marches and then some swinging arrangements.
No 2 was at a memorial fo rthe Battle of the Coral Sea.
It was a grey day and you could hear them coming.
Around Perrets Corner into Willis St on the march.
Magnificent sight.
