Bought your album totally in spec which is something I almost never do and it weas pretty good.
My advice for what its worth is listen to JImmy Yancey and Big Maceo for fresh inspiration and listen to Linda Ronstadt and not Billie Holliday.
Billie whined and you gotta clip the words and not elide them.
Sing it loud and proud girl.
