in my own dream; bumper day to day

Butterfields anthology turned up today.
re mastered and crystal clear.
Paul Butterfield inherited Little Walters crown as the king of Chicago Blues harp players and he had one the greatest guitarists ever in his band, the late great MiKe Bloomfield.
Massive 2 cd set with the coolest sax break ever on In My Own Dream
Paul suffered from internal hernias from blowing that little harp and he took to certain medicine to ease the pain and that killed him
RIP
Thank you for the music.
The other two albums I got from Liberty Books in Upper Hutt.
The proprietor Rhys has got great ears and knows his music and has a tremendous selection of the best of the sixties.
you bet.
I have a whole swag of Byrds best of CD's but this one has bonus tracks.
yay.
And the Traffic cd is a tour deforce of blue eyed soul.
Steve Winwood at his peak with a coking band.
back in the day this stuff was all throwaway grist for the radio charts mill but it stands the test of time and will live forever.
