the sound of one mind boggling...

Great night at the Michael Fowler Centre on Saturday.
About 250 singers raised high the rooftops and filled the hall with a good vibe.
The singing was great and the young Madagascan lady who did the choreography did an amazing job with the movements and other special effects.
The Wellington Community choir is  up to and maybe even better than the professionals!
They were fantastic.
I was mesmerised by the dancing and all the rest.
The conductors were Julian Raphael and Carol Shortiss.
Raphael is one of those people that exude music.
His conducting was masterful and for first time performers such as ourselves his commands were almost instinctive and authoritative.
Carol Shortis goes around the country giving whole day seminars in beginners choirs and not only that she has a beautiful voice to go with it!
The Carterton Community Choir did the town proud for such a short time since its inception and the members are looking forward and upward.
