jerry played the old banjo...

I myself flailed and flailed but never prevailed but the dropkick thumb worked out on the old guitar which was a pain because I wanted to flatpick.
duh.
so did randy rhoads.
his mom ran a bluegrass school.
gaspo.
anyway here is the do it yourself method.
I found the flatt and scruggs today on the 2 for $10 at the redshed.
plus the rollin stones first album.
has differrent tracks on various issues of this album but thats neither here nor there.
it has the right songs on it.
its all there.
crystal clear fifties and sixties r&b with other ott rock and roll covers better than the originals.
yes indeedy.
the flatt and scruggs album has a nifty reading of Farewell Blues in very fast tempo.
a challenge for the beginner.
help is at thand
happy traums book has an accurate transcription in the right key along with other very important tabs and instruction.
a gem.
the country equivalent to slonimsky.
hehehe.
as for jerrys banjo playing see american beauty working mans dead and old in and in the way.
