Top Ten Rhythym Guitarists of the Twentieth Century:
Keith Richards
lou Reed
Don Everly
Pete Townshend
Robert Hunter
Bruce Welch
James Nolen
Jimi Hendrix
John Lennon
Bob Dylan
Full of surprises huh.
Just watched the re-union concert of the Everly Brothers in the royal albert hall and Don Everly was king.
Fabulous rhythm in Wake Up Little Susie. Unbelievable in fact. Pete built a whole career and oeuvre on this lick with a fuzz box.
The rest you just have to check out for yourselves.
Robert HUnter. Had a vhs , California Screamin' (HAHAHA) and gues what. Its Robert driving the band and Jerry Doin the noodlin. WOW.
and anybody who wants to be a serious contender for folksinger of the year has to bea ble to strum like Bob. Levon annoyed Bob with his comment about strummin around here but Bob could do it.
Anyway I founda paperback copy of Extreme Prejudice in the SPCA thrif shop this a.m.
Dont know if it was writen after the movie or before but who cares.
Will have to geta print of the movie now too!
hehehehehehehehehe.

Great Waitangi Day in Carterton.
Hurunuiorangi put on a concert/family day  in Carrington Park and vibe was neato.
All the kids having a great time.
Good music from Soul to Soul. One of those innumerable Maori Hobby bands that have a really nice line in 50's standards and self penned ditties from the real. Oh and a guitarist with a nice line in Willie Nelson style leads. Way cool. They need a spot on Unsung Heores of Maori Music when they have finished with the professionals and get out into the country. Dig?
