wake up little susie...

Its high summer and it rained all weekend!
Watched a few videos.
The Bootleggers, Absolute Power and a John Wayne oater, "The Commancheros".
All good stuff.
and listened to a lot of the Rolling Stones.
took keiths advice and put on Muddy Waters, Still A Fool, Buddy Hollys, Maybe Baby and others plus Beggars Banquet on theto the Playlist and had a ball.
No drugs!
hehehehehehehehe.
Listened to the cricket but the tension was almost unbearable but a great win for the Blackcaps.
They are getting better and better at the moment.
Been thinking of brand names for Lance Cairns choccy bars. e.g. "Excalibur", "Sword and Willow' (?) hehehehehehehe.
Watched a bit of Al Jazeera.
Dont hink they would be allowed to pout the same searchlight on their own place of residence but they are still useful reference for the rest of the world.
I like the piece on "The Clinic". "The MSM is full of pages, full of words, full of nothing."
thats about it in a nutshell.
Large feature in Saturdays Dompost Magazine about what New Zealand needs.
Well a rag with some in depth investigations and provocative interviews for a start.
The place has become infantilised and totally sycophantic for anyone who has done anythng whether it has merti or not.
Hey I've got a hotrod, I demand you put my picture in the paper etc etc etc.
What New Zealand needs is to turn off all the televsion stations except for 2 hours every night, 20% impost on all petrol sales in the weekend, 100% departure tax on all people who leave the country for less than 6 months, one brand of car with three models and a whole lot of other stuff to curb the incessant demand for stuff and distraction.
and castration for every one who pulls their dick out at a sevens tournament.

listened to a good piece on RNZ on Saturday morning (thank you Kimmie) on a Mahlia Manning about manufactruing uncertainty.
Couldn't find her on the google so I will have to e-mail RNZ for a reference and correct spelling.
