what price democracy...

ya get that on the big jobs....

Meet the candidates at the Carterton Events Centre.
Wednesday 20th August at 7.30.
The flyer asks for donations.
That means in effect that you are paying to listen to the candidates.
what does the electoral commission have to say about this?

Judith Collins is claiming that the revelations in Nicky Hagers book 'Dirty Politics' are invalid because the e-mails were stolen.
That may be so but it still does not make them untrue.
Is there something wrong with the New Zealand Labour Party that they cant expose this fallacy.

And Cameron Slater making death threats.
Well I have this to say.
In 1984 (sic) I worked on a project indexing the newspapers of the Wairarapa.
Perhaps the greatest editor the New Zealands press has ever had (totally ignored by the parvenus of course) was Joseph Payton who established the Wairarapa Times just as the cable connecting New Zealand to the rest of the world was on line (1870 whats new?).
Payton filled his rag with tons of interesting snippets from around the world.
One of which was about a man who did a political  murder in Europe and vamoosed to Canada where he was tracked down and got his beans.
so slater may have his gang of standover thugs but if they really try any shit then I am sure they wont get away with it and nor will he.
They will pay.
