memo from turner...

he's the man who squats behind the man who works the soft machine.
Thinking about Marcus Aurelius who counsels quiet contemplation of the final dissolution and Keith Richards who listens to Buddy Holly and The Everly Brothers every morning for two hours before he picks up his own guitar.
Marcus says the singers and the songs are soon forgot but I never was an emperor. Only a sometime muso who came to philosophy late and had to fight the nitwits at the university to learn the stuff.
hehehehehehehehe!
But I did.
So the USA is at the mercy of the mischief making 20% who are opposed to everything at the moment.
Barack Obama.
Stick it to them boss.
dont hold back.
I suppose it is some sort of frisson in the great scheme of things but it will be gone in a month.
Had to laugh at Dave Letterman putting the newsman Tom Williams, from NBC at ease.
Too much dude.
Any major dude will tell you that any minor world that falls apart baby falls together again.
Back to Keith.
The great solos are on Wake Up Little Susie, You're Right I'm Left, She's Gone, That'll Be the Day and selected others. If you cant handle them then you cant handle anything.
Oh yeah and dont forget Keiths effort on Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man. Keith does it in G and if you listen to the original Fleetwood Mac, who use the same riff for My Heart Beat Like A Hammer, they do it in E so take your pick.
