where do the buffalo roam...

"The Aeroplane of Aeroplanes"

Koromiko NZ

Just got the vid from a chuckout pile at the library.
$1.
nobody wants it.
not the best movie.
just a string of sketches.
when I saw it at a theatre many years ago it melted in the projector as the credits rolled!!!
hmmmmmm.

coincidentally Bill Murray was on Dave last night.
he is a funny guy.

and the Foo Fighters.
they having a week season on DAVE.
hehehehe.
Last night they had Nancy Wilson.
She was pumped, doing it and giving it all and she was good.
no holding back.
no artificial gestures or posturing or strange haircut.
Just a real live woman getting it on.
Yeaaaaaaaay
Thanks Nancy.
Restored my faith in current women vocalists.
Here in New Zealand we specialise in whining gamines and rely on the press and telly to booster the most weird assortment of no talents the world has ever seen.

here in New Zealand we also specialise in turning a blind eye to anything we dont like and totally ignoring reality.
e.g. I was perusing an RSS news site today and there was an article on Christian women being sexually abused and sold into slavery at $10 a pop by terrorists in the middle east.
never reported in the news here.
front page of the Capitals daily yesterday had a half page about a kids haircut and todays issue had a half page on a disappearing street and an item on how to avoid obligations by bankruptcy.
noice.
I suppose anything meatier might put people off their weetbix and force them to think about something and take a stand but you know the most important thing in NZ is buying anything with a loud noisy motor so you dont have to listen to yourself or anyone or anything else.
easy.

quiet morning today.
not many out today it seems.

yesterday I got a couple of this years New Yorkers.
One good article on the ozone layer.
when the science first came out the aerosol lobby claimed the scientists were agents of the KGB.
hmmmmm.

Later:
Listening to Fill on RNZ and I thought why not put the DVD of Tommy which I acquired today ($3) on the VLC and watch it on the laptop.
multitasking.
something I have never ever done before!
Anyway it was a blast and it was too much even in miniature.
I had completely forgotten what a great movie it was. Totally over the top but thats what you get in a Ken Russel flic but hey outasight.
They dont make em like this anymore.
I can see why.
might give the kiddies bad ideas.
we were kidsoursleves then but we weren't soft in the head.
Wonderful to see absent friends putting in some fine performances and Clappo's finest moment!
tee hee.

We Were So Much Older Then But Younger Than that Now!
