local stuff and kneejerks...

The United Nations has questioned the naming of New Zealands new Ministry For Vulnerable Children. What happens to the rest?
who gives a sh*t.
Typical reaction.
Throw the baby out with the bathwater and all the other programmes that need cash can go hang.
No mention of why we need to have such a ministry or what it is about us that our record of infanticide and assaults on children are so numerous.
Why?
The universities turn out anthropology graduates by the dozen but issues of concern are never investigated with a thouroughgoing examination.
Its all about funding and patronage buying votes and too hell with anything else.
Gimmee the money.And a f*cking VAN!
whydoncha.

and the Kermadecs.
Traditional fishing grounds?
Vernon Small in this mornings Dompost  opines that New Zealand Prime Minister John Key must have known about the Foreshore and Seabed debacle when the last Labour government was in power but Key had not even been head hunted from the USA when that happened.
he hasn't got a clue about this country.
At the moment it is being run by a shonkey bunch of 10day MBA's who think they know everything.
Well I guess their time is gonna come.
