We the people...

Listening to Chris Trotter on RNZ yesterday afternoon. He expressed grave doubts about the Constituional Advisory Panel. A selected group who are going to tells us what to do.
Who selected them I might ask?
I have included here a facsimile of the first page of the United States Constitution and it begins, "We the People" and not we the constitutional advisory panel!
We here in new zealand with a unicameral parliament are totally susceptible to corparatist authoritarian edicts but this one must not be allowed to pass.
We need a constitution to protect us ffom this sort of behaviour and not to reinforce it.
Kittys Choice.
Simply one of the greatest female vocal albums ever made.
Take my word for it.
(it aint much good for nuthin else)
I got the ears dude.
United States Redux.
Like it or not the whole world looks to the UNited States for many things but mostly for the nebulous concept of freedom.
It is becoming clear now that the republican right have turned into an antiscientific, racist claque of geriatrics and their familiars.
this aint good enough and one of the most pressing outcomes of the presidential election is to use the media to let people know in general just how much science has contributed to the greatness of the UNited States and how ethnic diversity built the country for all and not just the bondholders and the coupon clippers.
