NOw that Ford and HOlden are pulling out of Australia a delegation of Wairapa Mayors are off to Detroit in the xmas holidays to ask the bigshots to start a new FOLDEN factory in the Wairarapa.
They will use ratepayers money to dig a canal directly over the Ruamahanga Aquifer to bring iron ore for a steelmill in masterton.
