I know that dairy exports contribute to my pension but I would rather go without than be party to the despoliation of our waterways.
What is worse is that the people supposedly in charge have ignored this pollution as it interfered with their grandiose dreams of building monuments to themselves and among the local body councils opposing reforms to the allocation of water resources is one whose neglect caused an outbreak of waterborne disease that resulted in several deaths.
This is NZ writ large.
