mangatarere river part two

why is it essential to save the magatarere river?
because it is one of the wairarapa's premier trout spawning streams.
sure the waiohine and the teheranikau may contain mighty trophy fish in the upper reaches but it is rivers such as the magatarere where trout like to spawn.
I have seen tremendous fish in the river during the season and it would be a crime to kill this river.
slept in today and then arose and put on a homemade tape of jerry garcia, linda ronstadt, joan baez and willie nelson.
funny but the stats revealed someone else looking at another piece I did on willies me and Paul album.
one of the greatest albums of the twentieth century.
yes indeedy.
listen to the insistent driving beat on I've Bee to Georgia On A Fast Train. no drum machine will ever come up with anything as urgent and solid yet syncopated by the synapse beat.
fantastic stuff.
the whole album is replete with the finest musicians hip ever committed to vinyl.
on the fag end of the tape was Carry Me Carrie by the inimitable Doctor Hook.
marvellous balladry from shel silverstein.
incomparable!
btw. re the mangatarere river it was very hard to find a good map of the area on google.
there just wasn't one.
not like the one on the brochure at the meeting last night.

You Need this for your xmas party
