Dave was great yesterday
that's Mr Letterman
Todd Rundgren was on the show playing and singing
he had the stage presence
I had always thought he was some sort of musical recluse genius
but he was no shrinking violet
nice suit
way cool
The Broadway Syncopators were right on form too
and Felicia Collins is still the hottest babe on TV
and she can play the guitar as well!
Dave you oughta get more interested in Cricket
it is the greatest game
not like the instant gratification of Baseball but more dogged grit and determination when some guy is trying to get you out ball after ball.
Next week the New Zealand Black Caps will be in England and lets hope our boys can show the pongos a trick or two
they think we are a gang of colonial hicks but we can play the game and win
you should be able to get it on sky Dave
and hopefully it will go the full 5 days
that's what I call a game!
Found two VHS vids yesterday at the Family Store
One the USAF wartime doco on the real life Memphis Belle and the other a one hour rundown of aircraft used in the Vietnam war
great stuff
The US never lost that war
they didn't want to conquer Hanoi
just keep em busy
there was more at stake than just territory
Been thinking hard about the Ancestry of Fascism
Bertie says that Hitler was in love with science rather than religion
that may be so but he had the winning of the war and consistently did the wrong thing
how stupid can one man and one nation be?
the me262 and heinkel 219 were clearly superior to anything the allies had but his maniacal insistence on bombing troops was an act of psychotic stupidity.
