Come on the good guys...

Bill Browder

Sergei Magnitsky

Was about to give the whole blogging thing up this morning and stick to looking out the window or riding the bus to town to fill in the day but I listened to a great interview with Bill Browder of Hermitage Capital Management on RNZ .

I love American  history. Its different to European history in significant ways and is full of rambunctious larger than life people that were pioneering a  new world.
Earl Browder always seemed to be a bit player somehow. A player but not amounting to much.
Now I see that he was pretty brave taking on the whole establishment.

Grandson Bill Browder is just as courageous in his own way and he deserves all the moral support that you can give him as he takes on a country that seems to be in the grip of common thieves.
That is an ugly thing to say but if the cap fits wear it.

His lawyer Sergei Magnitsky was punished and tortured by common thugs acting on their masters orders but he never gave in.

Shame on you forever Russia.
