funny old day today.
yesterday was hot and humid and today is just blah.
cant get up any enthusiasm. went to town to busk. didnt feel like it but I went anyway. Gotta keep the old pipes open.
legend of a mind
coulnt think of anything to sing and it was too windy to open a book so it was a real struggle.
then lunch with big sister.
and cracked it for a chat with a dude I know and I brought up the doors doco 'riders on the storm' and this guy said Ray Manazarek has a high opinion of himself!!!!!
Well I think I might after 6 hit albums in a row and a body of work that stands on the apex of creativity for the 60's and all time.
there. hows that?
stopped into the masterton family shop and found one of those  tatty old  copies of 'The Big Show" by Pierre Closterman that pop up every now and again. Books half price today so I grabbed it.
As a member of the British Commonwealth it easy to forget that other countries have an illustrious history and company of heroes so I hope I redress it somewhat with two other great French warriors.
And  'A Golden Hour Of Lonnie Donnegan' and aJazz Heritage Series No19 of Fletcher Henderson.
cant wait till I get home. There was also a time life vinyl of The Statler Brothers and one of Bob Wills but too many parties so I had to let them go.
Dang!
Carterton Family Shop has expanded into the old arts centre. Big Stuff furniture. Really important to the community. some say that they dont want Carterton to  become known for second hand shops but they if thats what it takes then go for it. People come from all over the lower north Island to visit the shop so there ya go.
Forgot to mention that "Fab Four" fromliberty video in Australia mate has some footage of Timothy Leary.
errrrrkkkkk.
Watched Rio Bravo last night. One of the great American Movies that stands up because of its moral and characterisation. Not to be missed by anyone who wants to investigate humanity.
Right now listening to the Amazing Rythm Aces; "Dancing The Night Away". Great song. Tricky little beast but I have nearly got it down and its one of those that people really like.
okay. Just mumbling now so I'll catch youall later.
ciao for now.

p.s. lots of visits from wzey.ask.com. url check says "suspicious". hehehehehehe.
