renewable resources and Bruce Springsteen

HI Bruce.
see the thing about renewable resources it that if you completerly wipe out a species or a stock then they are not renewable.
they are extinct.
in the meantime oil will never be fully 100% depleted.
very strange.
just heard on the MSN news that poachers from the Sudan have wiped out 1/3 of the Cameroons elephant herd.
that is nasty.
why dont the governments of these places do something?
if they can afford to buy guns then they can afford to do something.
and the trinket trade.
you know who I am talking about.
does your government believe there is an infinite number of elephants and inexhaustible stocks  just to pander to the acquisitive desires of consumers.
you have a vast state apparatus.
time to use it to do something constructive instead of just presuming that economic clout means open slather on anything that moves.
Bruce, write a song about it!

and very disappointed about only now getting a copy of Allan Bollards book on the world economic crisis.
it has been in the libray for a while.
doh...
so economics is a science huh.
I dont think so.
my fault for not keeping up with the play but a bit of distance adds perspective.
and great to see GM making a whopper profit.
yes they do make things.
hope Chrysler tops out this year too.
payback the faith.
ciao baby.
