Bill Monroe, Jimi Hendrix and the Warriors

Sunday morning reverie. read the raga and contemplate the universe.
First up who is rachael smalley and why is he saying all those things about Mike Tindall. Is it any of her business what somebody else does if they are not breaking the law. And what the hell is "slamming shots"?
what sort of infantile description is this. I take it it has something to do with drinking. well rachael smalley why don't you call a spade a spade instead of descending into high school juvenilia when you are supposedly addressing an adult audience whoever you are?
Anyway its Jimi Hendrixs birthday today. We miss you Jimi. Its not as if I p[lay your music all day and every day but when I need that fix you are always there. My favourite has and always will be "The Burning Of The Midnight Lamp, with the magnificent off key intro and the way out progression that takes you everywhere and Back. hohoho.
And thank you Washington Post for remembering Bill Monroes birthday. His music I do listen to most of the time. Its the sort of music you can learn to play yourself without too much difficulty and then it is up to you to put the feeling into it. Those simple 'geoffrey walker' progressions are the best for testing improvisational skills on the back porch without the fuzzface and the wah.....
Congratulations to Ireland for giving the Australians a shake up.
They needed it. If we do it to them then they whinge so good job.

Last but not least. The Australian NRL is not doing itself any favours by letting the refs rule the Warriors out of every game.
Its pretty obvious sometimes and not good for the game.
